Welcome to Yasmina’s Massage! I am a registered Massage Therapist based in London, specialising in Relaxing and Deep Tissue Massage.
My Approach
Before being a massage therapist, I am a dancer. Rythm and melody are the forces that bring harmony to movement. A massage session with me is a ritual which will help you reconnect with your authentic self and return grounded. I incorporate Lomi Lomi techniques in both Holistic and Deep Tissue Massage, creating a flowing and rythmic experience that moves horizontally with the strokes and vertically with the pressure.
Training & Experience
After obtaining my ITEC-certified Diploma in Holistic Massage and Sports Massage in 2023, I began working at Neal’s Yard Therapy Rooms, where I am still based. I believe in variety and enjoy exploring different settings to enhance my experience and knowledge. I have worked at AIRE Spa and MASAJ. In addition, I have trained in Deep Tissue Massage, Advanced Deep Tissue, Purifying Abdominal Massage, Chair Massage and Lomi Lomi Massage. Currently, I am pursuing level 4 and 5 training in Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy.
I also work as a Mobile Therapist at fitness and dance events, providing massage treatments at Real Intense Pleasure Fitness events and Ginga Boo events in UK.
I am member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies.
Skills
Training and experience are essential for ones development, but personality and life experiences also shape a therapist’s identity. I believe these aspects are equally important, and deserve to be included in the bio.
For me movement is vital. It’s my natural state of being and a source of energy. Through dance, I express my emotions; through exercise, I communicate with my body; and through massage, I connect with others and exchange energy.
A good therapist knows how to target the right areas and apply the appropriate pressure. There is no formula for this. I developed this skill long before becoming a Massage Therapist. Growing up in the countryside, I engaged in physically demanding chores. These repetitive tasks led to physical pain due to bent posture and long working hours. Experiencing that firsthand made it natural for me to understand where pain resides in the body.
Finally, and most importantly, a massage therapist is a giver and a healer. To give effectively, one must also be open to receiving. I take care of myself so that I can offer my best to others. I am both a mother and a father to myself, and I strive to be brave, refusing to let fear control me. I aim to be loving and nurturing to spread positivity.
